Partly it's due to the fact that I'm not sure I want to work on this particular novel right now. It's dark, as is much of my work, and I'm just not in the right state of mind to be working on subject matter like this. I think something more satirical might be more up my ally, but I haven't really thought about good material that would make for a decent satire. And this, of course, means I would have to change the title and everything.
